Tile Yoda is owned and operated by Nicholas McGowen (Nick), a tile contractor with 12+ years of hands-on experience across residential and commercial projects throughout Greenville and the Upstate. Nick runs two experienced crews and stays hands-on with every project — he personally supervises each job and works on them himself, so the same standards and accountability are on every site.
At Tile Yoda, we specialize in doing the job the right way the first time — whether it’s a custom tile shower, a structural water-damage repair, or replacing a failed shower pan. The pride we take in our work is the driving force behind this business, and it shows in the details most people never see.
We treat your home as if it were our own, and our customers like family. Shortcuts are wrong cuts, and being cheap is really expensive — so we use only quality materials on every job: no $6-a-bag mortar, and no acrylic caulk packed into joints that call for a proper flexible sealant. We build to TCNA and ANSI industry standards and recommend how each project should be done to last. For a shower, that means walking you through your grout options — including where epoxy grout is worth it for the longest-lasting, lowest-maintenance result. The choices are yours; our job is to give you honest recommendations and build it correctly. If a simpler, less expensive approach will serve you just as well, we’ll tell you that too.
